In a significant update for travelers, Azerbaijan has decided to waive the COVID passport requirement for foreign visitors entering the country, effective as of 06:00 on March 28. This progressive move comes amidst a declining trend in COVID-19 cases and aims to facilitate smoother travel experiences for those intending to explore Azerbaijan.
While travelers are no longer obligated to present COVID passports upon entry, it’s still strongly advised to adhere to all recommended health protocols for personal safety. Although vaccination before travel is encouraged by the government, it is no longer a mandatory prerequisite for entry into Azerbaijan. You can read more here.
